Is there such thing as a stupid person
The training staff started off by telling us there's no such thing as a stupid question.Of course stupid people can ask smart questions.I just joined pinterest this morning and have absolutely no idea what i'm doing on there. To make them feel uncomfortable and ask them the tough questions. There absolutely can be a too stupid or perhaps more gently put, not intelligent enough (or, perhaps not).
There has never been a stupid question asked in human history, not once. The politically correct answer would be to say all questions have merit, that we learn from asking anything. Some stupid people say stupid things, and yes, there is such thing as a stupid question.A client of mine showed me a post from an individual who was basically ridiculing people who are overweight.Smart people are better at evaluating their own dumbness than dumb people are, because they're smart.
Do intelligent people call themselves stupid, dumb etc.?A lot of the people who are least successful in our society are simply those without the brainpower to be successful. But the irony of this is that nobody gets to be both the judge and the jury in situations where these questions are asked because what may sound stupid to one person could be even more fascinating to the other.I hear a lot of people apologising 'sorry for asking a stupid question.' i know it can be intimidating sometimes, especially in live chat when experienced members seem to communicate in some sort of geek code.In many cases multiple people may not know, but are.
